Walmart CLEARANCE ITEMS 7-29-2011

I found a lot of things on clearance at Walmart yesterday evening. This picture was in makeup where they had brushes and things on then end of an isle.

This picture is what they have now started putting in the perfumes in baskets on clearance.

This was the other items on clearance in the perfumes of ponds, mail polish and other items.

Camera Shots: Comparing SoftSoap Prices: Walmart and PriceCutters/Rameys 7-30-2011

:Comparing SoftSoap Prices: Walmart and PriceCutters/Rameys 7-30-2011 :)

Been taking my camera out shopping with me this week to compare prices. A little bit of time is well invested to save a LOT of money per item. So my first stop to price match SOFTSOAP was Walmart where the smallest bottle of soap started at .99 (all sold out)  for a 7.5 oz bottle but the coupon stated 8 oz or larger so I kept searching and the next size jumped to 8.5 oz size for 1.97 at Walmart. The coupon doesn't double at Walmart so it is just .35 off the price which would equal sith tax  $1.74.

Its still cheaper for me by 1.19 savings to buy my SOFTSOAP at Walmarts with a total of $1.19 each bottle purchased.

So my second stop to price match SOFTSOAP was Rameys or PriceCutters where the smallest bottle of soap started at 1.59 for a 7.5 oz bottle but the coupon stated 8 oz or larger so I kept searching and the next size jumped to 8.5 oz size for 1.97 at Walmart. The coupon does double so it is .70 off the price which would equal sith tax  $2.93.

Its still cheaper for me by 1.19 savings to buy my SOFTSOAP at Walmarts with a total of $1.19 each bottle purchased.

Banquet Dinners Deal 7-25-2011

My Kleenex DEAL 7-26-2011 (walmart doesnt like ad)

My Kleenex DEAL 7-26-2011 (walmart doesnt like ad):

When I seen these tissues on ad match to a store in another close city, I knew it was going to be a good coupon getter. I had seen the add for .99 a box. The coupon pictured a smaller square box or a larger double the cost box. I chose to get the smaller box and save on my investment to keep it as minimal as possible. So, I add matched in 3 trips, 38 boxes for .99 a box (regularly 1.69 each). Then, I had a coupon .50 for every 3 boxes I purchased. So the total from all 3 trips for my tissues was $69.13. My savings was $35.56 and my cost for 38 boxes of tissue was $33.54. Woohoo!

However, this is where I ran into trouble. The assistant manager didn't like my ad. First the cashier calls the assistant manager over to our check out lane, checks me out, has seen me MANY OF TIMES because I shared 3 musketeers coupons with her personally, taking them out of my hand and sliding them into her pocket and walking away a few weeks ago. The cashier asked her if she could add match that add. She said that she wasn't supposed to take hom printed ad matches from other stores. This is how they try and beat me. She has seen me with my adds many times before and finally said that it was ok this time.

Later in the week I and the cashiers at Walmart that I have learned that know how to scan a coupon, went to a assistants manager above her and got my adds approved. So, I got the woman's name and I am good to go, until the next time they decide to make up another personal rule.

More Recipe Cards in SPICES ISLE TODAY:

Walking through PriceCutters today, they had more variety of recipe cards out in the spices isle. Again, this is a great time to collect them and send in Christmas cards to add to recipe books and look forward to Sprint time cheer.

Corporate Site says NO ADS NEEDED to ad match at Walmart

Corporate Site says NO ADS NEEDED to ad match at Walmart: Here is the policy that states no ads needed when you shop at Walmart, so who are they to tell me that they won't accept my home printed paper ads from home. I don't even need an add to get my ad matching price. I printed and keep in my coupon binder now.

Extreme Couponing Show: encourages Walmart to limit to 4 like item coupons

Extreme Couponing Show: encourages Walmart to limit to 4 like item coupons:

When I first started "using coupons" I was encouraged by watching Extreme Couponing Show. As soon as that show starting airing our Walmart started setting limits on items that had no limits on them. Proctor and Gamble is the only company that had started "limit 4 like items in one transaction." This was pushed onto other products when it never pertained to them by an assistant manger at our local Walmart. She also made me feel like I could only purchase 4 items on any things I would shop for and only use 4 coupons. This was a mis-conception on their part. I think that Walmart was so over-whelmed by the show creating a "coupon craze" that employees assigned their own rules to how we shopped with coupons.

Still today, I find rules I have never heard of before in the past 4 months since starting to coupon. If I don't feel comfortable with a limit or rule that an employee has set for me in my shopping trip, I research, ask questions and get answers so I can keep shopping. Shopping is something we do out of need not because its a hobby. Taking care of our families is the number one goal of shopping not making their jobs harder and training them ourselves to check people out correctly.

Walmart Manager "approves my home printed challenge ads" 7-25-2011

Walmart Manager "approves my home printed challenge ads" 7-25-2011

Last night I went to get some things from Walmart but I was not sure how to feel about my home printed ads that I take with me from other cities around me. When I go to Walmart, I noticed several of the cashier girls at the end of an isle, waiting for customers, so I went over to them and started talking. They all call me "the coupon lady" everywhere I go at the stores. I have a great relationship with some of the cashiers that have coupon knowledge and great attitudes about actually helping people and checking them out correctly with coupons.

So, I told the cashiers that I was a little reluctant to use my add but that I really did need to buy the tissues on an add match and then use my coupons. So, she calls the manager over and she asks her if they can approve my adds to get it out of the way. She showed her my add and the  manager said, "sure we can."

I was so relieved. I was off to shopping. The girls checked my tissue out. I shared an awesome razor and handsoap with the girls and everyone was happy. It pays to have friendly cashiers at Walmart that stick up for us. Lisa:)

Walmart says no more of my HOME PRINTED ADS 7-24-2011

Walmart says no more of my HOME PRINTED ADS 7-24-2011

I have been shopping with my own "home printed ads" for several months now, taking them with me because on several occasions, they tried to keep my adds after my purchases because they had no copy of the store I was ad matching to. So, I shopped like I ususally do last night at my local Walmart, took my printed add and when I started to check out, I presented my "ad matched item." And, the cashier called the assistant manager over and asked if it was ok. The assistant manager, that has taken coupons from me that were extra and slipped them in her pocket, said "were only supposed to take the original ad from the newspapers."

I used my ad in that store, with the same assistant manager and she said it was fine and approved it. So, I told her that another assistant manager, had told me personally, that we didn't need the ad. That at anytime, I could go to the little coupon nook at the front where the assistant managers mainly stand and request the paper to ad match to at any of my future trips with purchases.

Researching this above theory, that I needed the original ad only, on the WALMART CORPORATE PAGE for coupons it states that ""We do not require customers to have the ad with them to honor a competitor's ad." At Walmart Corporate office, in their policy it states

Walmart states that we don't have to have the ads in our hands in the following link:  .http://walmartstores.com/10563.aspx

So, I will continue to take my HOME PRINTED ADS with me and challenge their corporate office policy because I will get that deal when I go to Walmart. Lisa:)

Print Ads in COLOR

Colored Ink on Ad Matching Sheets

When you print at Coupons.Com print 2

I learned today that when I print a coupon from coupons.com that if I print one coupon off, it wastes the ink. Print two off and you will save a lot of ink with out printing all these advertisements. What a waste of money.

Printables from BRICKS

For the first time, I tried to print a "brick coupon" and it wouldn't print for me. So, I filled in my name and address and it really did come to me from California. I was so excited. Using each one they send me and it only takes a few days to get them so you don't miss any deals. It really works.
